AT THE FRAME SHOP WHERE THE ARTI$T DR SAKU GUNASEGARAM/ISAAC
FALCONER chose the acid-free
and UV-protected museum-quality matting+glass and acid-free

art:"
"Why didn't you
_TELL_ me your painting was going to be _SO_
beautiful???????????????????"
[Hello? Anne "we" thought you +PAID_ for this original work
of COMMI$$IONED FINE ART _BECAU$E_
you "already" realized" it's full beauty! That goes to
show does it not?]
Anne (a professional colleague of mine who went on to become a
close and valued friend during my time at
the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine,
Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics)
listened patiently to my sad tale: Of being commissioned
to paint the chapel ceiling at
St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Ardmore, Pennsylvania so that
it would cause the viewer
to "look up at the ceiling" (a work completed on January
1, 1997 (nineteen ninety-seven)
~then having the excruciating experience of the ceiling being
painted over.
She commissioned me to paint this in a way that healed and
touched me deeply:

Restoration of the
ceiling to its original condition of January 1, 1997 is currently (2005) being attempted by curator Ross Lance Mitchell
~at least that was the most
recent conversation.
This work was exhibited at the Da Vinci Art Alliance
All-Member All-Media Exhibition
at the gallery at 704 Catherine Street, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, USA (in May-June 1999)
The term of copyright
for a particular work depends on several factors, including
whether it has been published, and, if so, the date of first
publication. As a general rule, for works created after January
1, 1978, copyright protection lasts for the life of the
author plus an additional 70 years.
