(unframed) prints of some original
paintings on
this web site are
available for sale for EURO1,500.
The original paintings published on this page are
also for sale.
Since 2007, the minimum
price of a "large" [24" x 36"] framed
painting
has
been
EURO 50,000~please use the prevailing
bank rate "of the day" to
calculate
the
exchange rate with other currencies~or e-mail for more information.
This may sound like a lot~but many
contemporary
European artists (~the young David
Schnell from Leipzig, Germany, is a random example among several~)
currently sell a single
original painting for an amount equivalent to EURO 35,000.
Other,
more experienced
contemporary German artists, price their paintings in the range EURO
170,000 - 200,000
~for a single painting. The contemporary American photographer
Gregory Colbert prices
individual works at U.S. $ 180,000. As recently as
September 2008~British artist
Damien Hirst auctioned off his work for US $ 168 million at a 2~day
auction at
Sotheby's.
In spite
of "general" global economic downturns the contemporary art market
remains "hot."
Since the year 2000 the
artist's chosen framer has been:
Carlo Carisi

A majority of clients have opted to spend the extra
"shipping time" it takes to
have their paintings sensitively framed by
Carlo Carisi in Bologna, Italy, and then shipped to their homes and
businesses, in the USA and in other countries.
